Amgen was known by scientists and doctors for their cutting edge science and product innovations, however after a few years with new product announcements, it was important that this image remained true. Amgen chose to focus their booth at the American Society of Clinical Oncologists (ASCO) tradeshow on their robust pipeline, enviable R & D team, and focus on patients` lives.

Creating a fully interactive booth with timed presentations was the key to Amgen`s success at ASCO. From the moment a visitor walked onto the show floor, they instantly noticed the dramatic lighting within the booth and the huge video wall at the booth`s core. By promoting a series of timed presentations throughout the three-day event, doctors were encouraged to visit the Amgen booth multiple times. Once at the booth, the sales team engaged visitors to take a deeper dive into product information at the interactive product kiosks that highlighted videos from doctors, patients, and Amgen`s R & D team. A large section of the booth was also dedicated to the off-label product pipeline. Visitors could click through informative presentations about the science behind many of Amgen`s up and coming products.

results

The Amgen sales team left the show with more direct sales leads than at any previous tradeshow. The success of the presentation video wall, kept doctors coming back to the booth so the sales team could create relationships and drive sales.
