After-School All-Stars, UNIT’s long time client, needed a modern website to tell impactful stories, implore visitors to give, highlight individual chapters, and showcase their student, volunteer, and influencer participants. The non-profit founded by Arnold Schwarzenegger, offers after-school programs for sports, college prep, community engagement, and healthy living, wants to be known as a lifestyle brand that gives youth the tools to succeed in school and in life.SOLUTION
Pulling inspiration from lifestyle brands and social strategies, UNIT developed a unique menu that guides visitors to explore stories and implores them to give. We developed a series of tile lock-ups, providing the organization flexibility to highlight stories, individuals, key statistics and drive shopping. They can choose the tile lock-up that best suits the specific page needs, and add more tiles as additional content becomes available. Individual chapter pages were included, giving them an opportunity to build a tile structure that allows cities to recognize local highlights, achievements and board members. Recommended articles, lifestyle tips and tricks, and success stories reside at the base of each page to implore users to dig deeper into the site, learning more about the non- profit’s community impact.RESULTS
After-School All-Stars has been exceedingly happy about the site flexibility. They tiles allow them to customize content efficiently, and make use of their extensive photo library. Chapters are excited to feature their internal workings with national presence, with the goal of not having to maintain their individual local websites.
