With the introduction of online review websites, Zagat Guide was starting to loose ground as the primary source for restaurant recommendations. To increase their visibility and launch their new website, Zagat turned to UNIT to develop an out-of-home billboard campaign.SOLUTION
Famously known for their city specific guides to restaurants, it was important that their initial push into advertising embodied their location-based knowledge. UNIT drew inspiration from the local stereotypes of each city so locals could feel as though they were in on the joke. To instantly connect the viewers with the brand, the billboard designs capitalized on the iconic covers of the guides.RESULTS
